About this scholarship

For a First Nations, Inuit, or Metis student of Canada in the Bachelor of Education program at UBC who has achieved good academic standing and demonstrated leadership and community involvement.

The award is a $5,000 award made available through a gift from the Y. P. Heung Foundation in honour of Sandra Cawley (B.Com. 1981). It is made on Faculty of Education recommendation.

There is no separate application.

Sandra Cawley developed a successful career in real estate appraisal and land use and has served as Vice-Chair of the UBC Board of Governors.
