About this scholarship

Graduating seniors from accredited U.S. colleges may propose a one-year public service project in the U.S. or abroad for the Samuel Huntington Public Service Award.

The $30,000 stipend ($15,000 at project start and $15,000 after a six-month progress report) supports work before graduate school or a career. Submit a proposal, budget, transcript, resume, and recommendations online by February 9; finalists are interviewed.

Past recipients have gone on to distinguished careers in public service and entrepreneurship.
