About this scholarship
The Sam and Joyce Turner Scholarship awards $3,000 to $5,000 to Georgia State University undergraduate or graduate students studying actuarial science in the Robinson College of Business. Selection is based on merit. Candidates must apply to the Scholarship and Fellowship Committee of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance by February 1 each year. Recipients must be enrolled in the actuarial science program and in good academic standing. This endowed award supports students preparing for actuarial careers in insurance and risk management, one of Georgia State's longstanding professional programs within the Robinson College.
