About this scholarship
The Saginaw Award for Excellence is a full-tuition scholarship for high school seniors with a minimum 3.5 GPA from Bridgeport, Carrollton, Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy, or Saginaw United schools who compete for admission to SVSU. The award covers one hundred twenty credits toward a first bachelor's degree. Applicants must complete the FAFSA by January 31 and submit the Saginaw Award application between November 1 and January 31. Qualifying on-campus applicants with a 3.5 or higher GPA also receive the fifteen hundred dollar Valley Housing Scholarship.
