About this scholarship
The Ruth D. Cummings Memorial Scholarship Fund, established by her granddaughter Paula Drungole, provides financial assistance to Rust College juniors and seniors with demonstrated need when aid may determine success or failure. Recipients must be full-time members of the United Methodist Church, political science or pre-law majors, maintain a 3.8 cumulative GPA, and be residents of Mississippi. Awards are presented at Honors and Awards Day in April. The college selects eligible upper-class students meeting all stated criteria from the Holly Springs campus.
