About this scholarship
The Rural Emerging Educator Scholarship supports EOU College of Education undergraduates completing teaching field experiences in rural communities throughout Oregon. Funding comes from a grant to Teach Rural Oregon from the Educator Advancement Council and Oregon Department of Education. Each recipient receives two thousand one hundred dollars applied toward tuition while completing an undergraduate field placement in a rural Oregon school. The program recruits and supports teacher candidates committed to serving rural and underserved communities. Contact the College of Education for current application cycles and selection criteria.
