RTDNF Carole Simpson Scholarship

College sophomores, juniors, or seniors at the time the scholarship is awarded who are pursuing careers in radio, television, or digital journalism and identify as students of color may apply.

One $2,000 scholarship is awarded, plus an invitation to the RTDNA Foundation First Amendment Awards in Washington, D.C.

Apply through RTDNA's online portal with work samples, a cover letter, resume, and recommendation. Apply for only one RTDNA opportunity.

The Carole Simpson Scholarship was established to help students overcome hurdles on the path to careers in electronic journalism.
