About this scholarship
The Roy L. Smith Church Matching Scholarship matches outside church scholarships up to one thousand dollars per year for Southwestern College residential undergraduates who receive funds from churches of any denomination. Church funds must be received by the Office of Financial Aid by September first each year, and students must submit the matching application published on Southwestern’s financial aid site. When combined with the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation Dollars for Scholars program, Southwestern may apply this match to help students triple church-supported contributions. The scholarship renews annually when qualifying church funds are received on time.
