About this scholarship

U.S. citizens who are high school students enrolling in college, current college students, or otherwise eligible applicants may pursue U.S. Army ROTC scholarships at more than 1,000 participating schools. High school applicants need at least a 2.50 unweighted GPA, SAT or ACT scores, and must meet age, fitness, and commissioning requirements.

Awards cover full tuition and fees or room and board, plus a monthly stipend and book allowance. Recipients accept a commission and serve in the Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard after graduation. Students may leave ROTC after freshman year without a service obligation.

Create a scholarship portal account, contact your school's ROTC Recruiting Operations Officer, and submit materials before the board rounds. High school applications for the relevant cycle must be started by early March and complete by the final March board deadline.
