Ronald McIntosh Scholarship

Mature female students on the UNB Fredericton campus who have completed at least the normal first-year requirements in their program may apply for this $4,500 scholarship. One award is granted annually. Recipients must be New Brunswick residents as defined by Student Financial Services. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need.

Students continuing beyond the first year (30 credit hours) in the BBA program on the Fredericton campus who demonstrate financial need and at least an average academic record may apply. One bursary of $1,000 is available. The award recognizes the late Professor H.D. Woods for his contributions to industrial relations and to the Faculty of Business Administration at UNB.

Full-time University of Guelph students registered in any degree program in the College of Social and Applied Human Sciences (CSAHS) who are participating in course-related international travel may apply for this travel grant. Deadlines are April 15 for Summer/Fall travel and October 1 for Winter/Summer travel. Apply by letter to the CSAHS Awards Committee at csahs.awards@uoguelph.ca with a description of the international activity and a budget outlining travel expenses and other revenue sources. Selection is based on budgetary considerations and academic standing. Recipients must follow the university Safe Travel Policy and complete the required pre-departure orientation.
