Roland W Lauener Scholarship

A fourth-year UBC Vancouver medical student with excellent communication skills and academic performance demonstrated in the third-year internal medicine rotation may be nominated for this scholarship.

The award is a $3,450 scholarship endowed by friends, family, and colleagues in memory of Roland W. Lauener, a UBC MD graduate (1956) who served as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education from 1973 to 1994. No separate application is required; the Faculty of Medicine makes recommendations.
