About this scholarship
Chancellor's merit and leadership scholarship named for Blount County industrialist Fred Roddy, awarding five thousand dollars annually for four years to four new undergraduates selected each spring by the UT General Scholarship Committee based on academic merit and demonstrated leadership with financial need considered. First-year applicants apply for admission by November 1 and complete scholarship questions on the application. Maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA for renewal. May combine with other UT scholarships subject to institutional aid maximums.
