Eligibility
About this scholarship
Western University full-time third-year undergraduate in Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature, English Literature and Creative Writing, or a Double Major including English Language and Literature in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, with a minimum 80% average. Preference for a demonstrated interest in journalism.
One award of $3,700. Renewable in fourth year if the student remains in an eligible English program, maintains at least a 70% average, and a full-time course load. Only one student may hold the award at a time.
Submit a letter of application to the Chair of Undergraduate Studies, Department of English and Writing Studies, by September 30. Established by Mark McQueen (BA'88) to honour his father, Dr. Roderick Moir McQueen (BA'67).
