About this scholarship
The Robert V. Farrell Global Learning Scholarship in Sustainable Development at FIU honors a founding faculty member and supports students pursuing globally focused research and practice in sustainable development. Recipients receive $500 to fund projects such as social impact initiatives or environmental research, particularly students in the Peace Corps Prep or Global Learning Medallion programs. Full-time juniors, seniors, or graduate students with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply by submitting an application form, a 500-word essay outlining their sustainable development project, and a letter of recommendation sent to glmedal@fiu.edu.
