About this scholarship
The Robert G Chin Scholarship Fund awards one University of Miami student each year who has been adversely affected by a cancer diagnosis in the family, including the student or any family member. Applicants must be full-time undergraduates in good standing, demonstrate financial need through the current-year FAFSA and CSS Profile, and submit an essay of at least three hundred words explaining how they meet the cancer-impact criterion. Students download the separate application from the donor scholarships page. Selection is made by the Student Financial Assistance and Employment Office after review of financial aid files and the required essay.
