About this scholarship
The Robert D. Orr Endowed Fellowship supports full-time TEDS PhD students, especially in Theological Studies, who explore how biblical and theological perspectives engage medicine and technology. Fellows work ten hours weekly for CBHD as Managing Editor and Research Analyst while receiving up to $11,500 annually through fellowship, matching scholarship, and payroll components. The appointment and fellowship are awarded jointly and cannot be accepted separately. Recipients may renew annually for up to four years based on service. The fellowship cannot be combined with Hansen, Waybright, department, or program scholarships. Apply through CBHD with cover letter, research statement, CV, and two references.
