The Richard U. Light Fellowship provides full funding for Yale undergraduate, graduate, and professional students to pursue intensive Chinese, Japanese, or Korean language study at approved programs in East Asia for a summer, semester, academic year, or combination. Awards cover tuition, room and board, transportation, and incidentals at partner institutions in China, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.
