Richard J. Bea Community Service Scholarship

Registered nursing program candidates with demonstrated community service and a connection to the Grossmont Healthcare District may apply for the Richard J. Bea Community Service Scholarship. Eligible connections include district residency for at least one year, district employment for at least two years, or graduation from a district high school.

Two scholarships are awarded annually to RN students who have completed one successful year in a registered nursing program.

Submit nursing program transcripts, faculty advisor contact information, volunteer evidence, and a 500-word essay on community service and nursing aspirations. Applicants may apply to only one Grossmont Healthcare District program per year.
