About this scholarship
Established by CRNA Richard Hanson and his wife Laura, this scholarship supports students in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia program at the University of North Dakota. Second-year students who successfully completed the first year of the program, remain in good academic and program standing, and hold an overall GPA of 3.8 or higher may apply in the fall semester and are notified in spring for the following academic year. The award pays five hundred dollars each fall and spring semester. Preference goes to North Dakota residents or graduates who plan to work in North Dakota or a rural site after graduation.
