About this scholarship
The Richard B. Comley and Larry J. Heiskanen Hockey Scholarship at Northern Michigan University honors two longtime contributors to NMU men's hockey, including Coach Richard Comley's twenty-six years of service and Larry Heiskanen's many contributions known as Fungo. The fund was established in 2001 and amended in 2017. First preference goes to a member of the NMU men's hockey team attending summer school.
