Full-time University of Lethbridge master's students in their second year, and PhD students in their third or fourth year, may apply for support to present thesis research at a nationally or internationally recognized conference, including virtual conferences.
The award is valued at $1,500, disbursed to the student account after return and completion of the post-acceptance application. It is first come, first served, and a student may hold it only once per program of study.
Applicants need confirmation that they are presenting to disseminate thesis work. Apply online through the University of Lethbridge awards portal (General Application, then the Dissemination travel award under Other Recommended Opportunities). Travel outside Canada must follow university safety-abroad registration and authorization procedures.
