About this scholarship
The Rensselaer Leadership Award is a merit-based scholarship given in recognition of an outstanding record of academic and personal achievements, a strong commitment to excellence, and intellectual curiosity. Incoming freshmen and transfer applicants are automatically considered when they apply for admission; no separate scholarship application is required. Recipients may receive the award for up to eight semesters of full-time undergraduate study, or ten semesters for School of Architecture students. There is no minimum GPA required for renewal each year. Part or all of the award may be funded by a donor-matched endowed scholarship.
