About this scholarship
One-year launchpad scholarship preparing selected incoming CMU freshmen for the full Reisher Scholars Program. Up to eight Colorado residents graduating from a Mesa or Montrose County high school may receive a $5,000 tuition-and-fees award after completing the FAFSA, demonstrating financial need, and maintaining full-time enrollment in a four-year bachelor's degree with a 3.0 high school GPA. Applicants complete the CMU general scholarship application and Reisher Ready materials by the March 30 priority deadline. The program includes financial, academic, and social supports designed to prepare students to apply for the larger Reisher Scholarship after their freshman year.
