About this scholarship
Select entering freshmen from high school and transfer students from a California community college at UC Irvine are automatically considered for the Regents' Scholarship based on a comprehensive review of the UC application for admission. Eligible students include U.S. citizens, eligible non-citizens, and students qualifying under AB 130 or AB 131. Apply for fall admission by November 30.
This Distinguished Scholarship includes a monetary honorarium, an on-campus housing guarantee, transcript annotation, and distinguished-scholar programs. It is renewable for three years for freshmen and one year for transfers when requirements are met. Recipients must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA. Award amounts vary.
No separate scholarship application is required. Recipients must submit a Statement of Intent to Register by the university deadline.
