University of Victoria second-year Bachelor of Engineering students in electrical or mechanical engineering with strong academic standing may receive the Ray and Naomi Simpson Scholarship.
The scholarship is valued at $3,000 and renews automatically for years 3 and 4 if the student keeps a cumulative GPA of 7.0 or better. Students between 6.50 and 6.99 may appeal in writing to the Dean of Engineering; averages below 6.50 are not renewed. Preference goes first to Canadian students, then Australia or New Zealand, then other British Commonwealth students.
