R. E. McDermit Memorial Prize

Open to graduating students in the M.H.A. program at UBC Vancouver for the best paper examining current issues in the planning, management, or administration of health service programs.

One prize of $1,000 is awarded on the recommendation of the School of Population and Public Health in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The prize is offered annually by his family to recognize the late Robert E. McDermit's commitment to excellence in health administration and his service in government, health care organizations, and the private sector.
