About this scholarship
High school seniors who are residents of Mercer, Rock Island, Henry, Whiteside, Carroll, Knox, Lee, Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, or Louisa County and plan to pursue a STEM-related degree, associate degree, or skilled trades certification may apply for Quad City Engineering and Science Council (QCESC) scholarships.
One-time awards range from $1,000 to $3,000 and must be applied to tuition or fees for STEM study. Selection considers academics, civic/community service, extracurricular involvement, career goals, and an essay.
Complete the application with academic records, essay, and references. Winners may be asked for a photo for local announcement and may have contact information shared with QCESC member organizations for additional scholarship opportunities.
QCESC has awarded these scholarships annually since 1994 in collaboration with member societies, local businesses, and regional universities.
