High school seniors or returning or transferring Purdue University students who have been residents of Southern Arizona (Cochise, Graham, Pima, Pinal, or Santa Cruz County) for at least two years may apply. Admission to and attendance at Purdue is required to receive the award.
One scholarship of up to $2,000 is granted annually, typically as a one-year award for graduating high school seniors.
Recipients are selected based on academic merit and achievement and leadership beyond academics, approved by the Purdue Division of Financial Aid.
The fund was established in 1997 to encourage Southern Arizona students to attend Purdue, with principal held and invested by the Purdue Foundation.
The Purdue Club of Southern Arizona awards $2,000 (1 winner).
