About this scholarship

The Provost Level Scholarship provides five thousand dollars per year for up to four years to eligible Nevada resident freshmen at the University of Nevada, Reno who meet paired unweighted GPA and test-score thresholds, such as a three point five GPA with a thirty-five to thirty-six ACT. Applicants must pursue a first bachelor's degree, enroll in fifteen in-person credits each fall and spring, and submit a complete admissions file with FAFSA or Institutional Methodology and the MyNEVADA scholarship application by February fifteenth. Only one four-year Nevada freshman award is granted per student. Continuing recipients must maintain Nevada residency, federal SAP, fifteen credits per semester, and a three point two cumulative UNR GPA from the second year onward.
