Professor Jessie Gordon MacCarthy Memorial Scholarship

Open to a UBC Vancouver or UBC Okanagan student who has completed the penultimate year of any health program and best combines academic excellence with demonstrated interest and leadership in community and/or population health. Activities before admission to UBC may be considered as well as undergraduate activities.

One $1,000 scholarship is made on the recommendation of the Office of the Vice-President, Health.

Endowed by family, friends, and colleagues of Jessie Gordon MacCarthy, who for ten years contributed through teaching, administration, and research to the development of the Health Sciences at UBC.
