About this scholarship
The Presidential Honors Scholarship at UT Arlington awards $13,000 per year, up to $52,000 over four years, to the highest academically achieving incoming freshmen selected through holistic review of rank, GPA, test scores, and course rigor. Submission of SAT or ACT scores is required for consideration. Every incoming freshman is automatically reviewed upon completing all admissions documents by the scholarship deadline of March 1, 2026 for fall entry. Nonresidents may receive a tuition waiver reducing charges to in-state levels for up to four years while in good standing. Renewal requirements apply each year; meeting eligibility criteria guarantees consideration but not an award.
