The Presidential Excellence Scholarship is Carson-Newman University's highest automatic freshman merit award for students beginning studies in Fall 2026. Incoming first-year undergraduates receive $18,000 per academic year based on a high school GPA of at least 3.90 submitted at acceptance; no separate scholarship application is required beyond admission.
