Open to domestic UBC undergraduate degree students and graduate students (MA, PhD) on any campus whose course load is at least 50% in or related to French as a second language.
Awards totalling $108,000, valued at $3,000 each, are offered annually by the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne (ACUFC). Up to 36 awards are available. The program was established by the Government of Canada and the ACUFC to support bilingualism through postsecondary studies in French as a second language. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies. There is no separate student application.
