About this scholarship
The Platteville Promise guarantees free tuition and fees for eligible first-year students at the UW-Platteville main campus whose scholarships and grants do not already cover full tuition costs. Residents of Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota may qualify for up to eight continuous semesters of last-dollar tuition support after completing FAFSA and admission requirements. Students must be admitted by May 1 and submit FAFSA by July 1, completing any federal verification steps if selected. Only summer and fall entry students are eligible for this automatic promise program.
