Pittsburgh Public Schools graduates from classes 2018 through 2028 who meet residency, enrollment, attendance, and GPA requirements may receive Pittsburgh Promise scholarship funding toward accredited Pennsylvania post-secondary programs.
Eligible students receive up to $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total, as a last-dollar scholarship. A minimum of $1,000 per year is guaranteed. Students with a GPA between 2.0 and 2.49 may access the Promise Extension Program under additional rules.
Complete FAFSA and the Pennsylvania State Grant by May 1 and apply through the Promise Student Portal.
The Pittsburgh Promise Scholarship awards Up to $5,000.
May 1, 2027. Applications submitted after the deadline are typically not considered, so plan to finish early.
