Students entering post-secondary education whose parent or guardian derives their principal income from pipeline construction may apply for the Pipe Line Contractors Association of Canada (PLCAC) Student Award Program. The parent or guardian must be employed by, or have a history of employment with, a PLCAC member company. Awards are allocated each fall; the amount varies. Applicants must provide proof of full-time enrollment in a post-secondary program. Applications from students in post-graduate programs may also be considered.
The program has assisted more than 400 students since it was established in 1974.
