About this scholarship

The Phi Theta Kappa Society Scholarship provides five thousand dollars per academic year to transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society recognizing intellectual achievement at American two-year colleges. Transfer applicants who are accepted and subsequently enroll at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute are considered for this award automatically. Rensselaer does not combine multiple merit scholarships; students receive the highest single merit award for which they qualify. Medal scholarship recipients and students who already hold a bachelor's degree are not eligible for this transfer scholarship.
