About this scholarship
For outstanding domestic under-represented students, such as Aboriginal students, students from rural communities, immigrant and refugee students, first-generation learners, or youth aging out of care, entering the UBC Faculty of Forestry.
The award is a $2,000 renewable entrance scholarship from Dr. Peter Marshall within the Centennial Scholars donor portfolio. Eligible programs include B.Sc. Forestry, Forest Sciences, Natural Resources Conservation, and Bachelor of Urban Forestry. With continued scholarship standing, the award renews for up to three additional years or until the first undergraduate degree is completed.
Candidates must be nominated by a member of their school or community. Awards are made on faculty recommendation; no separate student application is required.
