About this scholarship
For a fourth-year MD student with a demonstrated interest in family medicine, a commitment to working with vulnerable populations, and demonstrated financial need.
A $1,450 award is offered in memory of Dr. Peter Granger (1939-2012).
There is no separate application. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine.
The award was created by UBC clinical faculty in Family Practice. Dr. Granger dedicated his career to improving medical care for marginalized inner city populations and served as Director of UBC's Division of Inner City Medicine.
