About this scholarship
The Paul Revere Frothingham Scholarship Prize, established in 1940 by Anna Clapp Frothingham in memory of her husband Paul Revere Frothingham, A.M. 1886, is given each year to the Harvard College graduating senior who best exemplifies excellent scholarship, character, and effective support of Harvard University's best interests. There is no separate application; eligible seniors are considered automatically by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships. Recent prize amounts have ranged from three thousand to ten thousand dollars depending on fund income and the number of recipients in a given year.
