About this scholarship
Bachelor of Applied Science students at UBC Vancouver in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Mining Engineering may be nominated for these awards. Recipients must be Canadian citizens within the top 25% of their year, highly motivated, and ambitious for their careers. Preference goes to students demonstrating financial need.
Four awards of $9,500 each are funded through a gift from Patricia M. Mohr (B.A. Economics 1968, M.A. Economics 1970), an internationally respected Canadian economist and commodities expert. No separate application is required; the Faculty of Applied Science makes recommendations.
