About this scholarship
Open to women in Canada or the United States whose education was interrupted for at least 24 consecutive months and who are returning to school to support themselves or their families.
Grants are need-based and pay up to $4,000 for tuition, books, supplies, childcare, transportation, and other education costs tied to completing a certificate, diploma, degree, or licensure program.
Apply through nomination by a local P.E.O. chapter. There is no fixed public deadline; chapter review timelines vary.
The P.E.O. Sisterhood has funded women's continuing education since 1973 through chapter-nominated grants across North America.
