Outstanding International Student Award

For new international undergraduate students entering UBC directly from secondary school or post-secondary study on a Canadian study permit. Recipients show outstanding academic achievement and strong extracurricular involvement, and must not be nominated for a need-and-merit International Scholars award.

This is a one-time merit-based entrance scholarship. For the 2025/2026 academic year, awards are valued at $10,000 to $25,000. If you apply to UBC by the admissions deadline, you are automatically considered; no separate application is required.
