About this scholarship
The Otto William Geist Endowment provides scholarship or fellowship grants to University of Alaska Fairbanks students majoring in anthropology, archaeology, or paleontology and working through the Museum of the North. For 2026, individual awards may be considered up to $3,500 to support master's and dissertation research projects. Applicants download the Geist Fund application and guidelines from the museum website and submit materials to the curator of archaeology by March 27.
