About this scholarship

Open to University of Regina undergraduate students majoring in English (Bachelor of Arts or Honours) who have completed at least 23 credit hours and remain registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours in the semester the award is presented.

One prize of $600 goes to the student with the highest final mark in a Period I (literature before 1660) English course offered in the previous calendar year. In a tie, the student with the highest UGPA receives the award.

No separate application is required; the department adjudicates the prize in-course.
