About this scholarship
The Opportunity Transfer Scholarship awards two thousand dollars annually to transfer students admitted to Jacksonville State University with a Jax State-calculated transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher and at least one transferable credit hour. The scholarship provides four thousand dollars over two years and is automatically granted to eligible admitted transfers from accredited community colleges or four-year universities. Recipients must maintain a 2.0 institutional GPA and earn 12 credit hours each semester at JSU. Transfer merit awards cannot stack with one another except the Phi Theta Kappa Enhancement Scholarship. Out-of-state transfer recipients receive in-state tuition on remaining balance.
