About this scholarship
Oliver Hill Scholars are academically accomplished, intellectually curious first-year students selected to join a community focused on social justice and positive change, named for civil rights attorney Oliver Hill Sr. Scholars selected from the Presidential Scholarship or Richmond Scholars pools receive a combined merit award valued at fifty percent of tuition, inclusive of the one-third tuition Presidential Scholarship plus the additional Oliver Hill award, renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment. Ten Oliver Hill Scholars also receive up to a one-time five thousand five hundred dollar enrichment grant for an approved student-selected activity. All first-year applicants are automatically considered; no separate application is required.
