About this scholarship
For an undergraduate geological engineering student in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at UBC Vancouver, with preference for students interested in geohazards and with involvement in a student group or the UBC community.
One award of $1,550 is endowed by family, friends, and colleagues in memory of Dr. Oldrich Hungr, who joined EOAS at UBC in 1996 and mentored undergraduate and graduate students until his retirement in 2016.
The department recommends recipients. No separate application.
