Old Birds Women’s Ice Hockey Award

Outstanding members of the Thunderbirds Women's Ice Hockey Team at UBC Vancouver, in any year of study, may be considered for this award.

One or more awards are offered, ranging from a minimum of $500 each up to the maximum allowable under athletic association regulations. Recipients have demonstrated excellent leadership skills and maintained good academic standing.

There is no separate application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the President's Athletic Awards Committee.

The Old Birds, a men's recreational ice hockey group of UBC Deans and Directors Emeriti that has existed for more than 25 years, has chosen the UBC Women's Varsity Ice Hockey team as its charity of choice.
