High school seniors who are U.S. citizens, maintain at least a B cumulative GPA (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), reside in an Ohio township, and plan to attend a college, university, training program, or vocational school in Ohio may apply.
Up to five scholarships of $1,500 each are awarded annually across Academic Achievement, Local Government Achievement, and Trade School tracks.
Complete the online application with a statement of activities, official transcript (ACT/SAT optional for the trade track), two letters of recommendation, and a 500-word essay. Applicants must attend at least one official meeting of township officials and complete the attendance form with signatures from at least two elected officials.
The Ohio Township Association Scholarship awards $1,500 (5 winners).
The deadline is January 31, 2027. Applications submitted after the deadline are typically not considered, so plan to finish early.
